ST. EDMUNDS BAGS BOTH THE BOYS AND THE GIRLS CATEGORY
Anirudh Mayaram Memorial Basketball Tournament
Jaipur : In the final matches of the boys and girls category of the 18th Anirudh Mayaram Memorial Basketball Competition held at St. Xavier's School, Jaipur, St. Edmunds School, Malviya Nagar won both the titles by defeating St. Xavier’s. St. Edmund’s defeated St. Xavier’s by 43 - 24 points.
In the girl’s category match, St. Edmunds defeated St. Xavier’s by 25-08 points.
In the boys' category match For Edmunds, Gypsy scored 18 points and Prem Pratap Singh scored 14 points. From St. Xavier’s, Govind scored 12 points and Mohak scored 6 points. In the girls category Gungun scored 13 points and Havana scored 5 points.
The best player in the boys' category was given to Gypsy of St. Edmunds and in the girls' category, the best player was given to Tanvi of Xavier's. The best scorer award went to Govind of St. Xavier’s. The Rising Player Award was won by Hemang of St. Xavier's in the boys' category and Gungun of St. Edmund's in the girls' category. Father Rector, Nelson D'Silva, the chief guest of the tournament, presented prizes to the players of the winning and runner-up teams. Tournament Chairman Abhinav Mayaram welcomed the visitors. Father M. Arockiam, Principal of St. Xavier's School, expressed his gratitude to the players and visitors.
