Reliance's AGM On Today, Possible Announcement On 5G, Also Be Broadcast On Social Media

The 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) will be held on Monday. The AGM will begin at 2 pm with RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani's address. Experts say that Mukesh Ambani can announce the start of this AGM 5G service. Reliance Jio has been the largest spectrum buyer in the recently concluded 5G spectrum auction.

The company has been talking about starting the 5G service as soon as possible. Apart from this, an announcement is also being made regarding the change in the management of RIL. It is believed that Mukesh Ambani can entrust a big responsibility to a family member. In June itself, Mukesh Ambani entrusted this responsibility to Akash Ambani, leaving the post of chairman of Reliance Jio.

According to news agency PTI, sources said that Reliance Group Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani will address the shareholders at the 45th Annual General Meeting to be held on Monday. The decision to broadcast this meeting on various platforms is being considered an attempt to connect people in a digital way.

Reliance Industries is one of the few companies in the world which is going to broadcast its general meeting live on social media platforms besides virtual reality platforms. The official Geomeet telecast of this meeting will also be done. According to sources, the details related to the general meeting will be seen on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter from 2 pm onwards. In addition, Reliance will also add two more social media platforms - Ku and Instagram - to its list of digital mediums to broadcast its AGMs live to digital audiences this year.
