Jaipur, 29 August:
 The Directorate of Academics at Manipal University Jaipur is conducting an e-induction program for the new batch from August 27th to September 11th, 2024. The program aims to familiarise first-year students with the university's culture, facilities, and academic environment.

The inaugural session of the Induction Program was held on August 27th, 2024. Prof. Dr N. N. Sharma, President of Manipal University Jaipur, welcomed the new students by showcasing the university's remarkable achievements. He expressed his enthusiasm for the new batch students joining the MUJ community.

The Chief Guest of the day, Hon'ble Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, Ministry of Education, Government of India, delivered an insightful address. He emphasized AICTE's various initiatives designed to support learners, including innovative workshops, mentorship programs, and internships. Prof. Sitharam also highlighted the importance of Universal Human Values in academic institutions and how these values contribute to a well-rounded educational experience. He reiterated AICTE’s commitment to creating an enriching environment that supports both academic excellence and personal growth. The inauguration concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Prof. Dr Nitu Bhatnagar, Registrar, Manipal University Jaipur.

The e-induction program continued on August 28th, 2024, with Commodore (Dr.) Jawahar M. Jangir, Pro-President of MUJ, welcoming the students and sharing the university’s remarkable milestones. The Chief Guest for the day, Hon'ble Amitabh Nag, Chief Executive Officer of Digital India Bhashini Division, Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, addressed the students. He spoke about the SWAYAM platform, DIKSHA, and the National Repository of Open Educational Resources, among other key initiatives aimed at enhancing higher education.
