The Diary of West Bengal actor Arshin Mehta, who has been featured in TVCs like Jeevansathi, Dabur, and Imperial Blue, as well as films such as Circle (Telugu), Main Rajkapoor Ho Gaya, The Rally, Sallu Ki Shaadi, Catfight (a short film), and Prem Yuddh (Gujarati), reveals her thoughts on fashion—emphasizing that she wears what makes her happy, suits her, and what she feels comfortable in.

She said, “To me, fashion is all about feeling confident and comfortable. I don’t really follow specific trends. My priority has always been comfort.”

However, since joining the entertainment industry, she has come to understand that “appearance” does matter. She explained, “For me, being comfortable is more important than anything else. But after entering the entertainment industry, I’ve realized that appearance does play a role.”

“During my modeling days, I was taught to always dress well and make sure my clothes suited me. That’s when I started paying more attention to my style, especially after I settled in Mumbai,” she added.

Arshin also treasures a few timeless pieces that have been passed down to her, even if they aren't trendy anymore. She said, “Like my mom’s high-waist jeans and loose tops. I don’t care if they’re in trend or not; I often end up borrowing clothes from my mom’s wardrobe when I need something, like a saree or a dress. Even though she would rather have me buy new clothes, she eventually agrees to let me borrow her old dresses.”

“Being the only girl who fits into my mom's, aunt's, and even my grandmother's clothes, I end up wearing their outfits, whether they are trendy or not. I hope some of these old styles come back into fashion,” she added.
