Redseer Strategy Consultants has claimed in its report that online sales are expected to increase by about 28 percent in the festive season of 2022.

If there is an increase of about 28 percent in online sales in this festive season-2022, then it will increase to the level of $ 11.8 billion i.e. $ 1180 million. According to the Redseer report, the number of customers shopping online for the festive season is expected to double this year as compared to 2018.

Online shopping increased 4 times
According to a RedSeer report, online sales are estimated to reach US$5.9 billion in the first week of the festive season in 2022. This year, the purchase is expected to increase in the fashion category and demand can be seen especially in Tier-2 cities.
Regarding this, Sanjay Kothari, Associate Partner, Redseer Strategy Consultants says, “We estimate that the number of online shoppers has increased almost 4 times as compared to 2018. This growth is driven by the rapid adoption of digital by businesses and increasing penetration in tier-II cities.
