Young Talents Showcase their AI/ML Prowess at DDIT

New Delhi (India), July 25: Representatives from Coduzion, a leading innovator in the e-commerce domain, were among the jury members at a Pitch Competition for the students at Dharamsinh Desai University (DDIT) to ideate solutions at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and eCommerce technologies. The event, held on July 23rd, 2024, drew over 30 enthusiastic teams eager to showcase their groundbreaking ideas on how AI and Machine Learning can revolutionise the eCommerce landscape.

A Competitive Afternoon:

The talented students of Dharamsinh Desai University pulled up their socks and put on their thinking hats, leading them to present various interesting concepts that aim to reimagine e-commerce. The jury set out to evaluate these young innovators and their exciting ideas comprised Chirag Bhavsar (CEO & Founder of Coduzion), Minakshi Mohanta (Co-Founder of Coduzion) Axay Bhisikar (Marketing Head at Coduzion) Farmon Akmalov (Co-Founder of MilkywayDelivery) and Hugo Obbens (Associate Sales Head at Milkywaydelivery). While it was an extremely tough choice, three ideas drew the judge’s attention with their innovation and immense applicability. These ideas were:

1st Place: AI Virtual Try-On: This innovative solution leverages AI and machine learning to enable virtual try-on experiences for various e-commerce products. Users can virtually experiment with jewelry, clothes, and more by accurately measuring body and face types, enhancing the online shopping experience.

2nd Place: FootX: uses AI to recommend the perfect shoe color, size, and fit for every customer. The objective was to minimize online shopping guesswork, as the software allows you to find your ideal fit from the comfort of your home.

3rd Place: Product Recommendation AI: This impressive presentation explored how AI can personalize product recommendations and even provide augmented views of how products might appear in real-world settings, enabling customers to get an improved understanding of their purchase beforehand.

Going Beyond The Competition:

The event brought together Coduzion’s top representatives and senior figures from MilkyWayDelivery, leading to significant insights to help bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and the industry’s demands for DDIT’s students. Further, Mr Chirag Bhavsar also delivered a keynote address in which he talked about the ever-evolving importance of AI and ML in not just the industry but also their transformative power in young engineers’ career prospects. Lastly, he also shared various impressive real-world case studies from the industry, inspiring the students to take on the challenge of upscaling India’s prowess in AI and ML!
