2ND EDITION OF THE LATE JUSTICE ANSHUMAN SINGH MEMORIAL GOLF CUP TO BE HELD TOMORROW



Jaipur, 18 October : 
The 2nd Edition of the Late Justice Anshuman Singh Memorial Golf Cup Tournament will take place on 19 October at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur. This one-day tournament will bring together over 160 golfers, including international players, who will play in 18 Hole Stable Ford (3/4 H'Cap) (Maximum H'Cap 24) format. This was informed by Maharaj Narendra Singh at a press conference. Other members of the Tournament Committee, Mr Arun Pratap Singh, Mr Jaideep Singh Bika and Mr Nidhishwar Singh Bika were also present on the occasion.

Son of late Justice Mr Anshuman Singh, Mr Arun Pratap Singh said that this tournament is being organised with the aim of providing financial aid to the caddies, especially the older and retired ones who have dedicated their lives to the sport. Financial assistance worth Rs 8 lakhs will be provided. The tournament also seeks to support the talented young children of caddies who show promise in pursuing golf as a career. This year, as part of the initiative, sports shoes will be distributed to the caddies, while financial aid will be extended to those in need, ensuring their continued well-being.

Notably, two international golfers, Mr Tom Soluri and Mr Michael Soluri, who will be participating in the tournament, were also present at the conference. Furthermore, the committee took the opportunity to recognise the efforts of a young golfer, Ms Eti Chaudhary, daughter of a caddie, who has been funded by the committee to pursue golf. She was felicitated with a donation of Rs 50,000 during the event.

The winners of the tournament will be felicitated by the committee members in a prize distribution ceremony after the match.
